The Utrecht VGC Regionals also proved successful for the Dutch host players. In a thrilling French-Dutch final, Nikhil emerged victorious over the previously undefeated Frenchman, Aurélien Soula. Aurélien could have made history as the first player in VGC history to remain undefeated throughout the tournament, but Nikhil’s fantastic Snow-team and skilled piloting clinched the victory. With this win, Nikhil claims his first major title and secures his Worlds invite.

The next big event will be the European International Championships held in London on the weekend of April 4th. There will definitely be many more Swiss players in London, so watch out and root for your favorites via our X @SwissVGC!

Meanwhile, the local circuit continues with upcoming PCs and MSSes. The next event will be in Gossau on March 10th, followed by the PC on March 17th in Rotkreuz, and culminating in our last Midseason Showdown of the quarter on March 23rd in Wil/SG.
